Afroprep-NOW! Black Survival Initiative is a program specially created to help vulnerable African-American and African-Descendant communities in the USA, Latin America, the Caribbean and around the world survive the devastating effects of the the Anthropocene epoch and a multitude of other challenges.
The world is entering a dangerously unstable phase. The escalating crisis in Iran threatens to ignite a full-scale regional war — possibly even a global one. But this is just one flashpoint among many. From the nationwide Abolish ICE uprisings and the rise of the far-right, to the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, famine in the Congo, rising tensions with China, and the unchecked emergence of AGI — we are facing a convergence of human-made and natural disasters unlike anything in modern history. Add to this the threats of bioterrorism, Factor-X viruses, climate catastrophe, and mass unrest, and the need for a rapid program overhaul becomes clear.
Our new Afroprep-NOW! workshop series is built around a repurposed version of the Strategic Air Command’s DEFCON (Defense Readiness Condition) protocol—originally used by the U.S. military to gauge the threat level of nuclear war. Today, we’re adapting that same scale for a new kind of battlefield—one marked by climate collapse, global war, political extremism, economic breakdowns, bioterrorism, and technological threats like AGI.
